The second trailer of GTA IV with this time real game play footages has been released yesterday. And it looks amazing. You can see a motorbike, a few cars, two helicopters (one is a black hawk), a bunch of guns, and I think at the end the main character (Niko Bellic) is using an iphone. In this episode you will be able to enter in more buildings then in the previous versions, which is a good thing. Also you can see niko firing an assault rifle, and he is carrying a bag which is also one of the new features of the game, being able to see everything you carry. You will also be able to hold on the back of a truck or on the skid of helicopters

Yesterday, I bought the amazing graphic novel from Brian Wood. I don’t remember where I heard of it, but i think it was on boingboing.net.
I’m big fan of european comics, “bande dessinée”. Unfortunately I don’t know much about their American cousin. All I know it the classic heroes and I’ve seen more movies then read books.
In Vancouver, I bought a few graphic novel and I was pretty surprised. I really enjoyed them, the stories were very nice as well as the drawings. I was a bit disappointed because the one I bought were in black and white, but it didn’t really matter.
Anyway, DMZ the novel I bought yesterday has everything I like in european comics. It’s a piece of art, the story is thrilling, surprising, some nice action seen, some hidden stuff to look for, some sustainable concept and a bit of tech.
The story take place in New York, I’m not sure about the year, but it’s not that fare in the future. Manathan as become a battle zone between the U.S.A and the secessionist “Free state”. A team of journalist is sent on the island to make a reportage, but nothing turn out as expected. Matthew Roth the intern is the only survivor after the team is wiped out by snipers on the drop zone.
Matthew luckily is rescued by Zee a med-school student who will become his guide in the ravaged city. With his high-tech broadcast equipment Matty will do his best to show the world the real face of the conflict…

Since I was a child, I just always loved sea-food. Fish, mussel, shrimp (my favorit), crab, etc… I love sushi too, mmmmm raw fish.
But as you know, seas are over-fished, soon we won’t be able to say “there’s plenty of fishes in the sea!”. Because the sea is going to be Empty. But lets not be pessimistic, if we are lucky, on spices of fish will become a super-predator, canibale and able to survive by eating it’s fellow fish-friends. Like in the movie Darwin’s Nightmare, here is the trailer.
So we will be able to eat one or two kind of fish. NICE!
Everybody should be aware, that human use the ocean as garbage, a little bit like a kid would push his toys under his bed to make his room look tidy. Unfortunately unlike kids, government and other “wise and mature” authority don’t try to hide toys but hazardous chemicals, nuclear waste, ammunition. Of course, they won’t tell you, they prefer to make you feel guilty not to recycle, guilty not to ride a bus.
I can’t imagine the asshole, that take that kind of decision,

It happens since the second world war, maybe even before and it’s still happening, but as usual it takes more then 20 years to become public.
I also read a lot of American hater comment saying “American are stupid” “bla bla bla “. Wake up guys, every single army in the world like that. It’s not because they wear green clothes, they run around in the countryside, that they are ecologically friendly. Friendly may rhyme with army, but it as nothing to do with it.
Being Swiss I heard a lot of story about the swiss army wasting policy, leave the engine of trucks running all night to use all the fuel in order to be able to get the same amount in the future. The waste of bullet and any type of ammunition for the same reason. I’m so glad I could avoid going to that stupid compulsory military service.
So the army: “STOP MESSING WITH MY SHRIMPS, OR I’LL KICK YOUR ASSES!”
Yesterday ma girl friend received those two cooking book by the post, strait from Korea. I had a look and many recipe look very yummy, the pictures are nice. But still, I’m looking forward to see a book from “My Korean kitchen blog”.
